Surge Protection Device is designed foruse in outdoor and commercial lighting application as well as industrial electronics control cards protections. These devices use combination of High Energy and thermally protected varistor technology which incorporate failsafe operation of device under hazardous voltage transients. It has options of series and parallel connection. Series connection has advantage of load disconnect feature which will disconnect load supply after Module’s end of life which prevent further surges to affectload, while parallel connection with indication helps to increase reliability of product till itsend of life.
